Queenstown Winter Festival

With the first festival taking place in 1975, the tradition has carried on through the years with the true fun-loving spirit of the Kiwis as exhuberant as ever!! You name it...parades, fireworks, workshops, partying with a bit of culture in the form of plays and concerts included in the programme. The day climaxes with some hot-air ballooning (weather permitting) and the final of the Top Blokes competition!! Check out the website for more details as there is so much more......!!!!

FEATURE: AJ HACKETT BUNGY - QUEENSTOWN!

AJ Hackett Bungy offers some totally unique Bungy experiences in Queenstown. For all the regular bungy junkies, the ultimate personal challenge has been developed and for those happy to have a go for the first time, AJ Hackett have kept things a little more low-key!

The Kawarau Bridge Bungy This is the original 43-metre Bungy Jump and as the world's first, it is still the most infamous!!

The Nevis Highwire Bungy This would be ultimate challenge. Make no mistake, you will soil your pants on this one with a mere 134 metre (440 feet) drop!

The Ledge Urban Bungy The only urban Bungy in Queenstown, and is as crazy as you can imagine with a'runway' to launch you out 400 metres over Queenstown!
